When sending Egress secure emails to your recipients, you may find that some recipients will have to request access before opening a secure email from you.
This is essentially caused by the recipient signing in with a different email address to the email address you originally sent to. This can take place in the following scenarios:
- The email being forwarded onto the recipient from another user
- The recipient having more than one email address
- The email being sent to a group mailbox and the user is signed in with their individual Egress ID
Please ensure that the recipient is signing in with the exact email address that you sent the secure email to.
You can see the exact email addresses you originally sent your Egress Secure email to by signing in here and clicking on Sent packages on the left hand side. If you then select the secure email in question and you will see a full access list of allowed email address recipients.
