When taking over a shared email address, it is possible that there may already be an Egress Account registered for it. If details have not been passed over from the previous account holder, it is likely that you will not be able to sign in. 

In order to reset the account quickly, you should create a support request and provide as much information about the account as possible. 

Examples of information you can provide are: 

  • Name/details of previous account holder
  • Telephone number linked to the account (usually an office number) 
  • Previous account holder last sign in/when they left the organisation
