When taking over a shared email address, it's possible that there may already be a Egress Account registered under that shared email address. If details have not been passed over from the previous account holder, it's likely you will not be able to sign in or have knowledge of the security questions set on the account.
If this is the case, we will need to go through further verification with you in order to reset this account.
If you Create a support request with us and provide as much information regarding the account as possible. Examples of information you can provide are:
- Name/details of previous account holder
- Telephone number linked to the account (usually an office number)
- Previous account holder last sign in/when they left the organisation
Providing us with as much information as possible will speed up the reset process.
