Issue

There are certain instances in which an error message appears if you have the Outlook Add-in installed on your machine and you navigate to the Outlook Calendar as seen below:

 

                                

 

Resolution

Outlook 2007

In order to resolve this issue, please navigate to your Outlook Options. In Outlook 2007 this is accessible by clicking Tools>Options>Other>Advanced Options. Please ensure you have navigated to the options shown below, making sure that 'Show Add-in user interface errors' is unticked. 

                  

 

Outlook 2010 and above

In order to resolve this issue, please navigate to your Outlook Options. In Outlook 2010 and 2013 this is accessible by clicking File>Options. Please ensure you have navigated to the options shown below, making sure that 'Show Add-in user interface errors' is unticked. 

                                                                                           

 

This will disable the developer mode and the error message will no longer appear. If you are still experiencing problems with this error message, please contact Egress Support.
